The Us Too Advocacy Team would like to express our deep appreciation and respect to our newest member of our Group. We at Us Too Advocacy will always Stand in Solidarity with you and your Organization.
It is with Great Honour that we at Us Too Advocacy welcome Patricia Ballantyne to our Group.
For those who may not be aware, Patricia Ballantyne is a Survivor of St. Joseph’s Residential School and the Founder of the Orange Shirt Society and started along with her Team ‘Orange Shirt Day’ which has been set as September 30th of each year. Here in Canada, the Federal Government designated this as a Statutory Holiday known as the ‘National Day for Truth and Reconciliation’.
Us Too Advocacy has extended an invitation and gift to become 1 of this Group’s Administrators which she has graciously accepted.
We at Us Too Advocacy ask you to graciously and in a ‘Good Way’ extend your welcome to our Respected Elder Patricia Ballantyne.
We once again wish to remind everyone that this group is to be a safe space so all of our members feel comfortable and safe to share their Stories. We especially strive to keep this an especially ‘Safe Space’ for our Beautiful and Courageous Survivors.
Once again, we at Us Too Advocacy are honored to have you here and as part of our Team.
Miigwech, Hiy kitatamihin, and Thank You.
All Our Relations!
